The Spontaneous Winds Trio was formed in New York City in 1985 by three students at the Julliard School. With coaching by David Weber and Steven Maxym, the group perfomed extensively throughout NY and its surrounding area. In 1988, the trio debuted at Carnegie Recital Hall as first prize winners of the Artists International Competition & continued concertizing well into the 90's. This collection is a humble attempt to widen the music available for reed trios!
